The Command is committed to protecting lives and properties and ensuring the maintenance of peace and order throughout the festive period. To achieve this, the Command in partnership with other security agencies has put proactive measures in place to prevent any threats to the state’s peace and security. Individuals intending to conceal weapons within the celebrants are advised to desist from such acts as the full wrath of the law will be meted on such offenders.
Furthermore, the Command wishes to remind citizens and motorists to make use of alternative routes as the procession will occur on some roads within the metropolitan.
