I am directed by His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, to announce that the Special Celestial Jerusalem Pilgrimage, 2023, scheduled for 23rd October, 2023, has been put ON HOLD till further notice.
This is as a result of the ongoing crisis ignited by the Israeli-Hamas war in the nation of Israel. We however assure all members of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, that have made financial commitments to be part of the pilgrimage program, that a new date would be announced as soon as the situation in Israel improves. We deeply regret every inconvenience that this unexpected development might cause, just as we reason that all things work together for good for those who love God.
And in a related development, the Nigerian Christian Pilgrims Commission (NCPC) has announced the suspension of all pilgrimages to Israel and Jordan, as a result of the ongoing crisis in that nation.
This was made known on Tuesday morning via a statement signed by the Head of Operations of the NCPC, Abu Okpanachi, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Yakubu Pam.
Once again, we assure all intending Celestial Pilgrims that the pilgrimage exercise would commence as soon as the situation in Israel improves. May the good Lord honour you all greatly for your understanding. Amen.
